Many people ask us why we charge tuition. Most online schools are publicly funded and receive about $12,000 to $15,000 per student each year, paid by taxpayer dollars. These schools are one-size-fits-all and typically do not offer parent choice. Strike School operates as a private school so we can give parents the choices they need as they decide what is best for each child.
The tuition we collect from families is the funding we rely on to provide the best in parent choice and personalized, flexible learning options, including the highest quality teachers holding master’s degrees and above.
To help families in need, we apply for grants continually to provide tuition assistance scholarships.
