Description

Kindergarten Readiness provides 4-year-old students with foundational skills to help prepare them for Kindergarten. Course content focuses on eight domains: Physical Development, Approaches to Learning, Social and Emotional Development, Language and Literacy, Mathematical Thinking, Scientific Inquiry, Social Studies, and Creative Expression Through the Arts. Course content is designed to meet the needs of the whole child and is constructed on research-based best practices. Students will be prepared for early literacy, mathematical reasoning, social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development. This comprehensive program will give students the foundation needed to succeed in a Kindergarten program.
