Our Founders, Mr. H. & Miss Shahla
Meet our founders, Mr. H. & Miss Shahla.
As 2020 unfolded, it became clear that our mission would be refined to do business in a way that would make a difference for people.
Jay, our founder, was wounded by traditional education as a child. He could clearly see that if provided the opportunity for unconventional learning, his childhood struggles would have been addressed. He recognized how many children have been wounded in education and the multitudes who are suffering today.
Shahla, our co-founder, was fortunate to experience unconventional education as a child and has spent decades working in school systems. She spent countless hours talking with anxiety-filled parents who were looking for healthy, educational opportunities for their children. This experience had her wanting to help families on a larger scale.
With Jay’s corporate background and Shahla’s work in the public school system and unconventional school environments, we had the specific experience and skills to move forward to create Strike School.
What We Believe | Our Personal Mission
We believe that the foundation of a healthy community is strong, healthy family units. Having come from generations of broken families ourselves, we are painfully aware of the impact, especially when it comes to children.
We believe that as business leaders, we have the privilege to make a difference in the lives of our staff and their families, and the honor to serve children and families in their educational journeys.
We believe that every parent or guardian has the right to make their own choice, especially considering the education of a child, aligning with their own family values.
