Virtual Schooling
Virtual schooling, also known as online learning or distance learning, has become increasingly popular in recent years.
One of its main advantages is flexibility.
Students can learn on their own schedule, which can be especially beneficial for those with busy schedules or who travel a lot.
Additionally, virtual schools provide a wider range of courses. This means that the curriculum can be more tailored to your child’s needs and interests, fostering motivation and knowledge retention.
However, many believe that virtual schooling is isolating, as many students may miss out on social interactions with their peers and teachers. That’s not the case with Strike School!
As an accredited virtual school, we offer Virtual Classroom options where students in Grades K-12 can participate in a small group experience with their peers and teachers. Homeschooling
Homeschooling is a little different from virtual schooling.
Yes, like virtual schooling, it allows for a more personalized and flexible education tailored to your child’s needs and interests.
However, unlike virtual schooling, parents/guardians have more control over their child’s curriculum and learning setup/environment.
One thing to keep in mind with homeschooling is that it can be challenging to balance teaching duties with other parental responsibilities and can often stress or even burn parents out. But if you choose to homeschool your child, we’re here to help!
Our Homeschool HELP option allows you to choose the subjects for your child, allowing you to still have control over what your child learns. What makes us unique is that we provide the option for teacher support, so if you have any questions or concerns, you can reach out to one of our Learning Coaches if you choose!
