How Does Personalized Learning Help with Learning Differences, Such as Dyslexia, ADHD, and More?

Personalized learning at Strike School recognizes and caters to a student’s strengths and challenges, meeting each child where they currently stand and what they specifically need.

Through a tailored “Personal Learning Plan” and adaptive technologies, students with learning differences, such as students who hold public school written IEPs, 504s, or have high Anxiety, Dyslexia, ADHD, etc. can succeed. These students receive targeted support, such as specialized interventions, alternative content formats through visual, video, and auditory components, and extra time for assignments when needed, all adjusted to the pace and style of learning for every learner.

Students who are advanced are also given opportunities that lead to success. Many students need the ability to work at their own pace and work ahead. Our curriculum is accessible all day, every day, so when they do their work it fits into their lifestyle and/or parent needs, no matter where they live or travel.

Moreover, our team of professional educators and administrators can foster a growth mindset and boost self-esteem by acknowledging and celebrating each child’s progress and accomplishments. By embracing personalized learning, we not only empower children with learning differences to unlock their full potential but also promote inclusivity and diversity in our educational systems, ensuring that every child has an equitable opportunity to thrive academically and beyond.
