Oklahoma Families: Claim Your $1,000 Homeschool Credit
Strike School is a qualified expense for the Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit.
A Parent-Led Process
The Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit (PCTC) allows homeschooling families to claim a refundable credit of up to $1,000 per student for qualified educational expenses. This is handled directly on your state income tax return.
- Refundable: You receive the full credit even if you owe $0 in state taxes.
- Universal: Available to all Oklahoma taxpayers "educating by other means."
- Qualified: Strike School tuition, curriculum, and tutoring are all eligible expenses.
3 Steps to Your Tax Refund
1
Enroll & Pay: Pay for your Strike School program upfront. Save your Itemized Receipt provided at the time of purchase.
2
Prepare Form 591-D: When filing your 2026 Oklahoma taxes, complete Form 591-D for each eligible student.
3
Attach & File: Submit your receipts alongside your state tax return (Form 511). The OTC will process your credit as part of your tax refund.
