What is the LA GATOR Program?
The LA GATOR Scholarship (Louisiana Giving All True Opportunity to Rise) is the state's new Education Savings Account. It allows families to use state funds for approved expenses like Strike School’s accredited tutoring and digital curriculum.
- Phase 2 Expansion: Now open to families earning up to 400% of the poverty level (~$124,800 for a family of four).
- Funding Amounts: Up to $7,626 for general education or $15,253 for students with disabilities (IDEA).
- Odyssey Marketplace: Funds are distributed quarterly through the Odyssey digital platform.
How to Use Your Funds
Apply at lagator.la.gov: Submit your application during the spring window. Priority is given to returning students and those under 250% FPL.
Join Strike School: Register for our "Academic Support & Tutoring" package to receive your personalized student dashboard.
Checkout via Odyssey: Search for "Strike School" in the Odyssey marketplace to pay for tuition directly from your scholarship balance.
