What is the Hope Scholarship?
The Hope Scholarship is West Virginia’s Education Savings Account (ESA) program. As of the 2026-27 school year, all West Virginia K-12 students are eligible. Strike School is an approved provider, offering a comprehensive "Tutoring Package" that covers all your student's needs.
- Funding Amount: $5,435.62 for the 2026-27 school year.
- Universal Access: Now open to all private and homeschool families, regardless of prior public school attendance.
- Marketplace Pay: Managed via the EMA/Theodore portal for direct payment to Strike School.
How to Access Your Funds
Get Your WVEIS ID: Contact your local county board of education to obtain your student's unique WVEIS ID number before applying.
Apply on the EMA Portal: Visit the official Hope Scholarship website to submit your application and verify your residency.
Select Strike School: Once funded, search for "Strike School" in the EMA marketplace to pay for tuition and curriculum directly.
